The PhysX SystemSoftware is required by any PhysX powered application. It’s a collection of PhysX windows libraries allowing PhysX to be run on your computer.
When developing with PhysX; Your programmers will need the system software, if your artists use any PhysX tools they will need it too, and most certainly your intended audience.
If you are using Linux then there is no equivalent of the PhysX system software for it and you may skip this step.
If you have a recently made NVIDIA graphics card, your driver may already have it installed.
1. You can find the SystemSoftware from the NVIDIA PhysX website.
2. Download the latest recommended version to disk.
3. Double-click on the PhysX_x.yyy.zzz_SystemSoftware.exe program to launch it.
4. Allow it to install to the default directories if you have no objections.
Now you have PhysX installed. You may wish to install the PhysX SDK
